Volunteer Opportunities - We Need You!
The San Francisco Bay Illini is an active and growing organization that is always in need of volunteers and welcomes your participation at every level. Whether you would like to plan an event, participate on the Executive Team, offer ideas for new events or services, or just offer us your Illini spirit, we need you!
Open Board Positions
Not sure how you want to participate, but just know you want to be involved? Here's a list of things we need help with today:
- Secretary - Responsible for managing legal and compliance for club operations, has authority to sign legal documents, and keeps meeting minutes.
- VP of Communications - Responsible for the over seeing all club communications, newsletters, internal and external club e-mail blasts, marketing and publicity efforts.
- Director of Finance - Responsible for event budget management.
- Directors of Events (North Bay, South Bay & East Bay Directors needed especially) - Coordinate events addressing whatever interests you most - outdoor, social, cultural, professional/speaker - you name it! Positions available across all regions of the Bay Area.
The San Francisco Bay Illini is an evolving organization and our Board positions are not set in stone. Let us know how you're interested in helping and we'll go as far as to customize a Board position around you and your interests.

Monthly Executive Team Meetings
We encourage you to participate in one of our monthly Executive Team meetings. You can either attend in person or participate via conference call.
