More than 70 SF Bay Illini and guests joined us at our Jan 29th Effective Networking and Personal Branding Workshop with Starla Sireno.  Starla started the workshop by splitting the room to two sides, with people agreeing or disagreeing with a current statement.  Each person was then invited to construct the five words that best define their personal branding. 

Starla then ended with a workshop on the various aspects of networking and the finer points on establishing a personal connection, and asked us to all practice with each other right on the spot.  It was a fun and extremely informative evening.

Special thanks to NVIDIA and Dan Vivoli, SVP of Nvidia marketing, an UIUC alum himself, for making this possible.  NVIDIA not only provided the facility for holding the event, but also a most impressive catering display of hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

It was a fantastic turnout for the local Illini - all left empowered with a wealth of knowledge and satisfied with great food and drink.  We look forward to seeing you all at the next speaker series event!  Go Illini!
