Charlotte Han’s interest in interacting with people from diverse backgrounds inspired her to pursue an MBA with a marketing concentration at U of I, where she graduated in 2006. A bi-lingual marketing and business development professional with extensive experience in the high-tech industry, she successfully launched social networking programs for ASUS Computer and Xpike Innovation, enhancing each brand’s public image and interacting closely with customers. Her consulting experience and analytical abilities were key success factors in several marketing campaigns that she executed in support of product launches. brite-View™ by Xpike Innovation, for example, is now highly visible and successful in the digital home theater products market thanks toCharlotte’s ability to create a groundswell of interest in the product and drive sales. I am confident that Charlotte will use her expertise in marketing to greatly drive our marketing communications with our members as well as reaching out to new members.

Rory graduated from UIUC with his BS degree in Civil Engineering in '03 and then his MS degree in Civil Eng. in '04. While at school he was the head coach and director of the UIUC Masters Swim Team and president of the Hawai'i Club which put on a campus luau each year for over 400 people. After graduating he started work with his current employer, Hatch Mott MacDonald, as a geotechnical tunnel engineer. He has worked in six different states and abroad in Japan, New Zealand and Canada. Currently he is working on several infrastructure projects including California High Speed Rail, Los Angeles Airport Expansion, and utility tunnels around the state. Outside of work, Rory has coached swim teams, soccer teams, and volunteered in several organizations. He is looking forward to organizing some East Bay events and supporting the SF Bay Illini Alumni Club.
