Welcome University of Illinois alumni and friends to the NEW San Francisco Bay Illini Club and website!
On behalf of the entire Executive Board and your fellow Bay Area alumni, I would like to personally welcome you to the San Francisco Bay Illini, a registered University of Illinois Alumni Association (UIAA) club. We are about to embark on an exciting new chapter and I hope that you will join us! The San Francisco Bay Illini is the fusion of the Silicon Valley Illini Club and the Golden Gate Illini Club (in San Francisco). With the formation of an integrated and motivated Executive Board in October 2008, the Club is committed to our mission of connecting the over 19,000 Illinois alums in the Bay Area - the largest Illini population outside the state of Illinois. The club has been in the hands of good leaders before me and I am honored to be able to continue to lead the tradition and bring quality events and programs to our SF Bay Area alumni. So what benefits does membership in San Francisco Bay Illini offer? First, a unique slate of events planned to expand your knowledge, advance your career, and connect with fellow Illini in the Bay Area and re-connect with our great University: - Regular Happy Hours and other social events - Schmooze with fellow Illini

Your participation is the key to the Club’s success. Membership dues provide financial support to host Club events and provide membership services each year. Your membership contribution to the Club makes a real difference. We are also always looking for volunteers to help organize events and/or take leadership roles with the Club, and we appreciate your suggestions and comments. Our Board continues to put a lot of work into providing exciting opportunities for our members. We hope you take advantage of these opportunities to meet Illinois alumni from all around the greater Bay Area and become a member. Welcome again and I hope to see you at one of our events soon!
